Moggy is a personal side project created to bring a new perspective to the World of Warcraft community.

The concept is simple: a fan-made tool that uses Blizzard's official API to fetch character renders and provides an automated, AI-driven commentary on transmog choices. This isn't a corporate product; it's a space built by a fan, for fans who share a passion for the game's true end-game: character customization.

As a queer developer, I wanted to create something that reflects my own voice, incorporating a bit of wit and "shade" into the technical world of Azeroth. Moggy is about celebrating our characters, sharing a laugh, and enjoying the creative side of the community in a quick, fun, and shareable way.

A Personal Note on the Illustrations

I want to be transparent about the art on this site. As a solo developer running a non-profit project, I unfortunately do not have the budget to commission the many talented artists that make our community so vibrant. Because of this, I have relied on AI to generate the character illustrations you see here.

I sincerely apologize if this feels like a shortcut. It was never my intention to devalue human artistry, which I deeply respect. Using these tools was the only way I could bring the visual vision of Moggy to life while keeping the project free and accessible for everyone. If this project ever had the resources, my first step would be to replace these images with original work from human creators.
